GFI FaxMaker Client works with both fax options :

GFI FaxMaker Server

• Select this option when GFI FaxMaker is installed on your company’s server as an on-premise solution to send and receive faxes and SMS messages

GFI FaxMaker Online

• Select this option when the organization has subscribed to a subscription plan with GFI FaxMaker Online to send and receive faxes. GFI FaxMaker Online is an online faxing solution which does not require an on-premise fax software and hardware to be installed on the company server
