FaxMaker receives partial faxes occasionally.

SOLUTION

A fax may be received by GFI FaxMaker as a partial fax. Partial faxes are not garbled faxes. Partial faxes results on sudden drop of the active fax connection initiated by the fax sender. 

Sudden drops of active fax connections can be reduced if:

• Error Correction Mode is enabled on both sides
• Fax Transmission Speed is 9600 baud or below

CAUSE

Poor line conditions, errors in fax data or modulation issues can be the main causes for a drop of the active fax connection.
