PROBLEM

When printing a supported document with the NetPrintQueue2FAX printer driver, the print spooler service crashes immediately.

ENVIRONMENT

• GFI FaxMaker
• all supported environments

SOLUTION

From Microsoft Windows Explorer browse to the GFI FaxMaker installation folder

1. Right-click on the GFI FaxMaker folder and select Properties
2. Select the Security tab and under  Group or user names:, add Domain Users and Authenticated Users
3. Select Domain Users and set the permissions under Allow to Full Control
4. Repeat step 4 for Authenticated Users
5. Click on OK to apply changes

CAUSE

The Domain Users and Authenticated Users groups do not have full NTFS permissions on the GFI FaxMaker installation folder.
