PROBLEM

I am having problems to open PDF documents on my BlackBerry Handheld device. These PDF documents were created by GFI FaxMaker.

SOLUTION

In order to view PDF documents that are generated by GFI FaxMaker on your BlackBerry Handheld device, you must ensure that you have installed the BlackBerry Attachment Server build 4.0.1.6 or later builds. A fix is also expected to be incorporated in BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.0 Service Pack 2.

CAUSE

You might encounter problems in trying to view PDF files generated by GFI FaxMaker on a BlackBerry device. Such issues might occur whenever a fax is received and GFI FAXmaker is configured to send incoming faxes to the users in PDF format.
