This article provides information to run an application as a different user. This applies to Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 2008, and 2012.
Information
If you are logged into Windows as a local user, you may need to specify the domain name of the user you wish to run as. To run an application as a different user, hold down the key and right-click on an application or a shortcut. Select Run as a different user.
