This article provides information about the release of GFI FaxMaker 2013 Service Release 3.

Information

The information about new features and installation requirement is provided below.

New Features:

• Web Service API for sending and receiving faxes.
• Updated OCR engine for faster processing.
• Ability to process outbound faxes with OCR.
• Support for USRobotics USR802972 V.92 PCI Modem.

Installation Requirements:

• If installing on Microsoft IIS SMTP (x86), Microsoft Exchange Server 2000, or Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, then Microsoft IIS with SMTP Service installed is required. You need to download the x86 version (faxmaker2013.exe) of the GFI FaxMaker 2013 Service Release 3.
• If installing on Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010/2013, then Exchange 2007/2010/2013 Hub Transport Server Role must be present. You need to download the x64 version (faxmaker2013_x64.exe) of GFI FaxMaker 2013 Service Release 3.
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4 is required.
