Duplicate printers appear under the Advanced node in GFI FaxMaker

PROBLEM

Printers under the GFI FaxMaker Advanced node are listed twice.

ENVIRONMENT

  • GFI FaxMaker
  • All supported environments

SOLUTION

  1. Back up the FaxMaker configuration per the instructions in this article
  2. Remove all the printers
  3. Re-add the printers again by selecting Advanced > Printers > New and completing the wizard

CAUSE

The upgrade wizard fmcfgupg.exe was run twice, causing duplicate printers to be entered.
