Objects > Applications page takes a long time to open

Overview

In version 7.4.3 and higher, opening the Objects > Applications page on the appliance's web UI takes significantly longer than in previous versions. Depending on the device and CPU/resource availability, opening this page and the application definitions contained within the page can take upwards of 45 seconds.

Cause

This is caused by a known software limitation.

Workaround

There is no current workaround.

Resolution

The engineering team is aware of this problem, and will work on resolving it for a future firmware release.
