Appliance license will expire soon.

Summary

User is getting notified by Exinda appliance that "Appliance license will expire soon."

Overview

When user logs into exinda appliance, it notifies the user that their license will expire soon for this exinda appliance even though when the user has valid support for more time.

Cause

Two possible scenario can cause this which are as following:

1.It can be a Shell Unlock License key which is required to enter the shell of Exinda appliance.For example,it looks like this 'LK2-RESTRICTED_CMDS-45A6-LMR9-C1U6-P423-GPL8-6GT2-GEL0-XHEW-3XN0-T59R-AWQ8-15J9-F'.
So, if license key which is going to expire soon has 'LK2-RESTRICTED' written in the beginning then it means that this key is 'Shell Unlock Key'

2.If it's not the 'Shell Unlock Key' then it's your Exinda appliance License Key.

Resolution

Scenario1: If Exinda appliance is notifying that its 'Shell Unlock License key' will expire soon. User can simply ignore or delete this license as it won't affect anything on Exinda.

Scenario2: If user is getting message that their license will expire soon and this license key is not "Shell Unlock Key" Then, please get in touch with your contact owner or sales department.
