This article provides a brief description of the main functions and purpose of the Exinda Active Directory (AD) service and its corresponding integration manual.

Using the Exinda Active Directory (AD) service allows our users to::

• Expose AD usernames in monitoring and reporting, no longer having view users as IP addresses.
• Utilize AD groups and usernames in optimization policies (thereby implementing QoS).
• Optimization Policies based on individual users or entire groups.
