Overview

GFI LanGuard fails to download any Java update when trying to perform a patch deployment. The following error is displayed during remediation:

Failed to download 'jre-6uXX-xxx.exe'. Not found.

Root Cause

Oracle has hidden these patches behind a click-through license approval web page and they cannot be automatically downloaded.

Resolution

The development team has published a fix via auto updates. Make sure that you are running the latest version.
