Overview

When a USB storage device is plugged in, it takes a minute or more to become available and for the user to be able to access it. This Issue happens when BitLocker detection is enabled.

Environment

EndPointSecurity 2012 Agent 20121015 and newer

Resolution

This defect has been fixed in EndPointSecurity 2013. Please upgrade to this version to resolve this issue.  If an upgrade is currently not feasible, you can disable BitLocker detection from the EXEC policy as a workaround:

1. Go to Configuration > Protection Policies.
2. Select the policy and click on Encryption.
3. Uncheck the Enable detection of encrypted devices option.
