• The sensor is unable to reliably decrypt the actual IP traffic contained within the Wi-Fi frames that are captured. It is able to get the data payload size and use this to accumulate a rough estimate of bandwidth usage for each connected device.  
  
  
• The data is not entirely accurate primarily due to the need to 'hop' between the 2.4GHz spectrum and the 5GHz spectrum to monitor all channels. Only information on the channel being monitored is used.
  
  
• In addition, some new Access Points support 40MHz and wider channels and the sensor is not able to capture these data frames at this time.
