Compatibility Between GFI Products and FAT/FAT32 File System

This article provides information regarding the installation of GFI products on FAT/FAT32 file systems.

Microsoft does not support the use of FAT file systems or FAT32 file systems with Internet Information Services.

Therefore, the following GFI products can not be installed on a FAT/FAT32 file system as they require Internet Information Services:

 

  • GFI MailEssentials

  • GFI MailSecurity

  • GFI MailArchiver

  • GFI FaxMaker 12 and higher
