Why does the license show 'Evaluation mode' after entering a license key in GFI MailEssentials?

GFI MailEssentials 2012 and later will merge the two previous products, GFI MailEssentials 2010, and GFI MailSecurity 2011. GFI MailSecurity and GFI MailEssentials are part of the product that are licensed separately. In case you were using only either one product, the other product will be in evaluation for 30 days after the upgrade.
 

1. Open GFI MailEssentials  Configuration > General Settings > Licensing
2. Under Product Edition if you see Anti Spam or Email Security, you should have a 30 day evaluation of the other part of the product listed below in the Anti Spam or EmailSecurity fields

This is normal and you will stop seeing the evaluation information after the 30 days.
