Overview

FaxMaker Online fails to send faxes to a specific recipient and displays the following error message:

• GFI FaxMaker Online
• All Supported Environments

Root Cause

The SIT-Tone (special information tone) announces that the outbound call failed.

The automatic message after the SIT-Tone will explain why the call failed. Common reasons for a call failure are that the recipient number does not exist.

Resolution

Ensure that the number is valid. Dial the number and listen for the fax tone to ensure it is correct.
