How to Identify

When the GFI WebMonitor Proxy tries to use NTLM authentication, the Dropbox application will not be able to work. User will receive a message that there is no Internet connection. It will continue working normally via the web browsing. According to our research Dropbox client does not work in environments that use a proxy with NTLM authentication (please see https://www.dropbox.com/help/22).

Workaround / Fix Details

- Edit proxyconfig.xml within the Data folder - Locate: - Replace it like in the example below Example: dropbox.com *.dropbox.com - Save the xml and restart the GFI WebMonitor services
