How to Identify

Client computers that print through NPQ2F (installed on a Windows Server 2003 / 2008) may encounter printing errors or incorrect output when they have a Microsoft Office 2010 application . Error messages or results: a) Invalid font errors b) Missing print jobs c) Secure print fails In regard to the fax number (where the font "Calibri" is used), GFI FaxMaker will fail to send a fax to the fax number, because the fax number will appear unreadable on the NPQ2F dump.

Workaround / Fix Details

To resolve the issue, choose one of the following options: Option 1: Install Office 2010 fonts on the print servers (recommended) Option 2: Bypass the print servers and print directly to the printers Option 3: Use an alternative to the Calibri font
