Overview
When printing a document to the NetPrintQueue2Fax or the FaxMaker printer, the fax is shrunk to a quarter of its size. Customer installed FaxMaker and NPQ2F printer on a Windows 8 client machine. Any converted document (attached to the transmission report) appears in the correct size (1:1). Documents were printed either with the local FaxMaker printer or NPQ2F printer installed on Windows 8 client machine. Once customer upgraded the client machine from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, all outbound faxes (printed with local FaxMaker printer/NPQ2F printer) are automatically shrunk in size (width/height = 1/4 smaller).
Environment
- GFI FaxMaker
- Windows 8.1
- Windows Server 2012R2
Root Cause

Resolution
Install the update rollup 2911106 published by Microsoft and this will resolve this issue.
Confirmation
The fax page is printed correctly with the GFI FaxMaker or NPQ2F printer.
