Answer
FaxMaker can fail to receive inbound faxes with an 'Invalid Fax Size' error. This error indicates that the inbound fax call has been established, fax data has been transferred and the call has also been disconnected successfully. However, the 'Invalid Fax Size' error may indicate that the amount of received fax data is not sufficient to cover all the required header data. Hence, the result fax page is not valid.
To understand and to identify the cause some essential information are required:
About the fax sender:
- What is the name and the exact model of the fax device?
- Does the sender fax journal confirm an error? If yes, what is the error code on the sender fax journal?
About the fax recipient:
- What is the name and the exact model of the fax device?
- Collect the FaxMaker troubleshooting files
- Collect the trace files for fax device, if applicable
