You see the following error when trying to install the GFI FaxMaker printer on a Microsoft Windows 7 64bit computer:

ENVIRONMENT

• GFI FaxMaker
• Microsoft Windows 7 x64

SOLUTION

1. Go to Start > Control Panel
2. Open Add/Remove Programs or Program and Features
3. Select Turn Windows features on or off
4. Disable the option Print and Document Services

CAUSE

This Windows printer option hindered the loading of FaxMaker's printer driver.
