Overview

GFI FaxMaker upgrade is encountered with the following error:

Incompatible driver version detected

Environment

• GFI FaxMaker
• All supported environments
  
  

Root Cause

The upgrade has replaced Dialogic Brooktrout drivers, however, the administrator did not reboot the machine to complete the process.

Resolution

1. Reboot the server.
2. Re-install Dialogic Brooktrout TR1034 drivers.
   
   

Confirmation

The GFI FaxMaker is upgraded successfully.
