Overview

In the current release of GFI FaxMaker Online Client, the installation does not allow the administrator to specify a custom SMTP port for the mail server. By default, the GFI FaxMaker Online port is set to 25.

Root Cause

This is currently a limitation of GFI FaxMaker Online. It is intended to provide this functionality in the later stage.

Resolution

The current workaround is to change the SMTP port of the mail server after the GFI FaxMaker Online Client installation. 

1. Launch the FaxMaker Online Client form.
2. Navigate to View Options > SMTP Options.
3. Under the SMTP options section, change the SMTP settings to your preferred value.
