Computer hangs when formatting a partition

Problem Summary

When the ESEC agent is installed, if you create a new partition + format an internal disk from Disk Management the computer hangs. Although the partition is created and formatted successfully, you need to reboot to be able to use the computer.

How to Identify

1. Deploy the ESEC agent 2. Open Computer Management > Disk Management 3. Create a new partition for a disk and format it 4. Process will complete to 100% but computer will hang and you can do next to nothing until you reboot it

Workaround / Fix Details

- Fixed in EndPointSecurity 2013
