This article resolves an issue where the Add button is missing when trying to add items to the temporary whitelist.

Environment

The issue and resolution presented in this article are applicable for GFI WebMonitor 2013 and earlier versions.

Root Cause

Since the temporary whitelist is user/IP-based, this behavior is expected when the Anonymization feature is enabled to minimize the possibility of identifying users. The general whitelist is not affected.

Note: It does not affect GFI WebMonitor version 2015 and later because the temporary whitelist does not exist anymore.

Process

1. Open the GFI WebMonitor Configuration Console.
2. Navigate to Configuration > Anonymization.
3. Disable the Anonymization feature. 

Confirmation

Once the Anonymization feature is disabled, the Add button is shown as expected when trying to add items to the temporary whitelist.
