Saving policies on GFI WebMonitor TMG/ISA is taking too long

Problem Summary

When trying to add an IP or IP range to a policy in GFI WebMonitor 2013 for ISA/TMG the policies takes a long time to be saved and sometimes it will fail with a timeout error or filter communication error.

How to Identify

It only applies when all these conditions are met: 1. Client is using GFI WebMonitor 2013 for ISA/TMG (Does not apply to any version of Standalone or previous versions of TMG/ISA) 2. Client is trying to add IPs or IP ranges to the policy (Does not apply if trying to add users)

Workaround / Fix Details

A patch is available at PSG for 2013 Upgrade to 2015 or later.

Required Actions

Upgrade to 2015 or later.
