Cover Pages Are Illegible When Sending From Lotus Notes Using GFI FaxMaker

Overview

An illegible cover page is produced when sending from Lotus Notes to GFI FaxMaker.

Environment

Root Cause

The format of the email sent by Lotus and the cover page format are incorrect.

Resolution

The email format sent by Lotus Notes needs to be in .txt format. The cover page from GFI FaxMaker needs to be in .txt format as well.

To change the format of the cover page:
  1. Open the GFI FaxMaker Console.
  2. Right-click Coverpages and select Properties.
  3. Open Message body format preference and choose Plain Text > HTML.
