Auto-Printed Faxes Contain Black Pattern on the Header/Footer/Side

You can automatically print faxes upon receipt using the auto-print feature. Sometimes users encounter an issue where all faxes that are auto-printed on a local/network printer contain several black patterns on the fax header/footer/side.

Environment

This applies to GFI FaxMaker with the auto-print feature enabled.
 

Root Cause

A wrong printer driver has been installed for the configured local/network printer. Hence, all auto-printed fax pages contain several black patterns on the fax header/footer/side.

 

 


 

Resolution

Install the correct printer driver for the local/network printer. To determine the correct printer driver, refer to your printer's documentation/manual.
