Exinda CLI: License

Overview

 

This article provides information regarding the CLI command license

You can use the license command to fetch, install, delete licenses and enable or disable the auto-licensing service.

 


Information

 

NOTE:  The following syntax convention is used:
  • {}: Options are enclosed in braces and are separated by '|'
  • []: Optional keywords are enclosed in brackets
  • <>: User input is required where variables are enclosed in greater-than and less-than symbols

The following table describes the commands used for performing common actions related to licenses:

To download and install the latest license key from the Exinda licensing server

To install a new license

license install <license-key> Not Applicable 
To delete an existing license license delete <license-id>

<license-id> - Licenses are identified by their ID which can be found with the show licenses command.

To enable or disable the auto-license feature [no] license auto enable

enable - When enabled, the appliance will automatically fetch and install any newly available licenses. It checks every 24 hours and is enabled by default.

To send WAN memory, Edge Cache disk and reduction statistics, and optimizer status to the licensing server

license send-status Not Applicable 

To show currently installed licenses

show licenses Not Applicable
