Overview

This article provides the resolution to an issue where, when trying to load the GFI MailEssentials configuration, the system loads the Microsoft Outlook Web Access webpage instead.

Root Cause

A redirect option is pointing to the Microsoft Outlook Web Access site.

Process

1. Start the IIS (Internet Information Services) Manager.
2. Navigate to Server > Sites > Default Web Site.
3. Select the GFI Mail Essentials virtual directory.
4. Select HTTP Redirect. 
5. Uncheck the option 'Redirect requests to this destination.'
6. Click Apply.
7. Restart the IIS services. 

Confirmation

Launch the configuration GFI MailEssentials configuration page; it opens the correct page now.
