Process

Follow these steps to reset a lost password for an encrypted device:

1. Plug the device in the computer (the server, not the client) where the main encryption application is installed.
   
   
2. Go to corresponding Protection Policy > Encryption > Volume Encryption > Configure. 
   
   
3. Press 'Reset user password'. 
   
   
   
   
4. Select the device from the list.
   
   
5. Enter the recovery password set by the administrator. 
   
   
6. Enter the new password for the device.
