This article provides useful information about sending emails from EndPointSecurity.

Information

In sending emails from EndPointSecurity, smtp.gmail.com cannot be used. According to the article Read Gmail messages on other email clients using POP, outgoing mail requires Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) (port 465) or Transport Layer Security (TLS) (port 587).

GFI EndPointSecurity only supports standard authentication to mail servers.
