Overview

This article describes the process to follow when clicking on different pages within the GFI WebMonitor console and the below error message is displayed within the page:

c:\Program Files (x86)\GFI\WebMonitor\WebUI\Areas\Dashboard\Views\Quarantine\ConfirmationWindow.cshtml(17): error CS0104: 'DateTime' is an ambiguous reference between 'System.DateTime' and 'Resources.DateTime' 

Information

Environment

• GFI WebMonitor
• All supported environments

Root Cause

Some files may be leftover from a previous installation that should normally be removed during the GFI WebMonitor upgrade process.

Process

1. Navigate to the following directory:
   <WebMonitor_Installation_Directory>\WebUI\App_GlobalResources
2. Remove all files except the following:
   
   • Resources.resx
   • ScriptResources.resx
3. Re-start the GFI WebMonitor Services.
4. Re-open the console.
