Information

During a configuration change, a dialog window recommending a phone restart is always displayed. You can restart immediately, although there are instances when a reboot is not possible, especially if it will impact production. You may skip the restart process and choose to do it later by following the procedure described herein.

Note: Some Cisco phones from newer series cannot be restarted automatically. In cases of configuration changes, you may need to reset the phones manually; this does not apply to the Cisco SPA phones.
