Overview
There are instances where the monitoring database can become corrupted on the Exinda appliance, and cause no data to be displayed in the pie charts of the dashboard. This can happen for a variety of reasons, including power loss, errors during a firmware upgrade, etc.
Resolution
Note: During this troubleshooting, it will be necessary to perform some maintenance on the database. There is a chance that a section of the monitoring database will be cleared while performing this maintenance. If unsure of any of the steps described herein, please, refrain from executing it and contact Exinda Support immediately.
- Open the License Database (LDB) and navigate to the device information for the Exinda device.
- Click Click to Generate 7 Day Shell Unlock Key and copy the result.
- Open a console connection to the Exinda and execute the following commands:

License Install (paste 7 day shell unlock key in)

clear database

pm process collectord restart
-
pm process monitord restart

pm process datad restart

Exit

- Go back to the WebUI.
- In the Dashboard panel, click on System to verify the database status is 'running.' If the status is 'starting,' make sure that it changes to 'running.'
Confirmation
Wait around six minutes for the illustration (pie charts and data) to be displayed in the dashboard.
