Overview

When the user tries to submit a fax request using the HTTPS as the connection type, the GFI FaxMaker Online client prompts the error:

"Error: An error was encountered while sending the fax. The error is: C-0002 - Logon failed"

This article provides the steps to resolve this issue.

Environment

• GFI FaxMaker Online client (HTTPS option)
  
  

Root Cause

Either the username and/or password of the GFI FaxMaker Online is/are incorrect.

Resolution

1. Select View > Options > [TAB: Connection Settings] from GFI FaxMaker Fax Message form.

2. Verify whether the entered username and/or password for GFI FaxMaker Online login credentials are correct.

3. Amend changes, if required and confirm with "OK."
