Unable to Edit WebMonitor Policy Scheduler in Internet Explorer

Overview

The WebMonitor Policy Scheduler cannot be edited in Internet Explorer and this article explains how you can edit this via the IE Browse Mode setting.

Environment

  • GFI Webmonitor
  • Internet Explorer 9

Root Cause

New Features in Internet Explorer 9 have compatibility issues with WebMonitor.

Resolution

  1. Hit the F12 key in Internet Explorer.
  2. Select IE7 or IE8 at the bottom under Browse Mode.
