Creating Ringing Groups in Kerio Operator

Overview

This article provides the steps to create Ringing Groups in Kerio OperatorYou can use Ringing Groups to make calls ring simultaneously on multiple extensions.

Process

  1. In Kerio Operator's administration interface, navigate to ConfigurationRinging Groups.

  2. Click on the Add button. The Add Ringing Group windows appears.

  3. In the Group extension field, type the extension number for the group.

  4. Add the extensions that should ring simultaneously to the table by clicking the Add button and filling in the required information. 

  5. (Optional) To redirect the call to another extension when no one answers the phone, check the 'Fallback to another extension when the group is not responding' box and set a timeout and destination extension in the appropriate fields.

  6. (Optional) If you do not want to display the answered call as missed on other phones in the group, go to the Advanced tab and check 'Do not display missed calls on the phones' box.

  7. Click OK.

Confirmation

Any new call to the specified group extension will cause all the defined extensions under this Ringing Group to ring simultaneously.
