Configuring Ringing Rules in the Administration Interface

Overview

In Kerio Operator, you can configure ringing rules (call forwarding) for each user in the Ringing Rules section. This will allow calls to be forwarded to another number.

Process

  1. In the Kerio Operator Administration interface, navigate to Configuration > Users.
  2. Select an account and click on Edit. The Edit User dialog box opens.
  3. Navigate to the Extensions tab.
  4. Select an extension and click on Ringing Rules.
  5. Enable the Ring extension option.
  6. Select a number for Timeout. When the specified time runs out, Kerio Operator forwards the call.
  7. In the When busy option, select the Continue option.
  8. Click on Add and type the number and description.
  9. Select a number for Timeout.
  10. Enable the Fallback to voicemail option.
  11. Click on OK to save your changes.

Confirmation

Conduct a test call on that specific extension and verify if the call gets forwarded to the number that was configured.
