This article provides the required steps to assign a SIP account to an Aastra 6755i IP phone with Kerio Operator.

Note: As of Kerio Operator v2.3, this phone model can be automatically provisioned.

Information

Prerequisites

Before configuring the line, create an extension with the below fields in Kerio Operator. Refer to Adding New Extensions for more information. 

Field	Description
Proxy Server	The IP address or hostname of the proxy server in Kerio Operator.
Registrar Server	The IP address or hostname of the registrar server in Kerio Operator.

Process

1. Log in to the web administration interface of the phone by typing the phone's IP address in your browser. The default login for Aastra phones is admin/22222 (username/password).

2. Navigate to Advanced Settings > Line 1 and fill in the following fields:

   Field	Description
   Screen Name	The name that will appear on the phone's LCD.
   Phone Number	Your extension
   Authentication Number	Your SIP login name, e.g., 230p1.
   Password	Your SIP password.

Confirmation

The Aastra 6755i IP phone is now configured with Kerio Operator and can be used as per the configuration settings used by the administrator.
