PROBLEM

OCR routing cannot be enabled since there is no OCR tab under the routing options available. The GFI FaxMaker configuration may display the following errors:

• Could not initialize OCR module
• The GFI FaxMaker OCR-Engine was installed, however it is disabled, because you have no license for this engine...

ENVIRONMENT

• GFI FaxMaker
• All Supported Environments

SOLUTION

Please verify if the correct license key has been used and if it includes the OCR feature. If not, please contact sales@gfisoftware.de in order to verify and (if required) to upgrade the license key.

CAUSE

An incorrect licence key or a license key (without OCR feature) was entered in the GFI FaxMaker configuration.
