Problem Summary

A storage device has been successfully encrypted by EndPointSecurity, but when plugging it in again the data drive is not mounted. The issue occurs when there are mapped network drives configured.

How to Identify

1. When the device is plugged in, the password is entered successfully however only 1 drive is added. When trying to access it the user receives an Access Denied message 2. There is a mapped network drive whose drive letter is the next one available after the drives for actual devices e.g. if C: is the HDD, and D: is the CD-ROM, E: is assigned to a mapped network drive 3. If you open E: the files which are located on the encrypted drive can be seen
